Shahin Mustafayev, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Co-Chair of the State Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, and Farzaneh Sadegh, Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Co-chair of the Commission from Iran, along with their delegations, reviewed progress on the Ordubad-Marazad Hydroelectric Power Plant project, Renewables.az informs, citing the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
It was noted that 60% of the construction work on the 36 MW Ordubad Hydroelectric Power Plant, located on the Araz River, has been completed, and additional opportunities should be created by the Iranian side to facilitate the project’s continuation.
