Azerbaijan has discussed with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) the prospects for financing green energy projects in the country, Renewables.az informs referring to the Ministry of Energy.
The meeting was held within the Asia Clean Energy Forum 2025 in Manila (Philippines).
Azerbaijan was represented at the event by a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov.
As part of the visit, a roundtable discussion was also held on the Central Asia-Azerbaijan green energy corridor, with the participation of representatives of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as ADB and AIIB.
The event participants discussed strengthening energy ties, developing green energy transmission routes, and opportunities for multilateral cooperation in this area.
