As part of the initiatives aimed at turning the liberated territories into a green energy zone, contracts were signed for the construction of two solar power plants in the Jabrayil region.
Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, Director of Enerso Jabrayil Eldar Mammadzada and Director of Clean Energy Jabrayil Khayala Naghiyeva signed Land Lease Agreements for the 50 MW Ufug SPP and 50 MW Shams SPP projects.
Power Purchase and Sale Agreement and Transmission Grid Connection Agreement were also signed for both projects. In addition, joint balancing contracts were signed with Norm in connection with the construction of these two plants.
