Azerbaijan plans to invest approximately USD 2.6 billion in renewable energy projects and power grid development by 2027, of which USD 600 million will be allocated directly to strengthening grid infrastructure.
Renewables.az reports that this was stated in an article by Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, published in Azerbaijan newspaper.
