I think it's an incredible opportunity to be here and a great project.

Renewables.az reports that Arnaud Jouvin, Vice President on Investment and Energy at Brookfield Asset Management, made the remarks while sharing his views on the “Green Energy Corridor: From Feasibility Study to Implementation” Forum, held in Baku on October 22.

"It's a fantastic opportunity for Azerbaijan to diversify its product offering for export towards clean and reliable power and it's equally a fantastic opportunity for private capital to invest not only in the green energy corridor and the transmission infrastructure itself but the adjacent adjacencies and generation capacity that will feed into this project and meet customers or offtakers appetite and help Europe diversify its import", Jouvin said.

On January 21, 2026, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Connor Teskey, President of Brookfield Asset Management, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
