Within Azerbaijan-Twrkiye Energy Forum in Izmir, meetings were held with Ibrahim Erden, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TWEA), and Ibrahim Özarslan, Member of the Board of the Nordex Group.
During the meetings, the sides exchanged views on the companies’ activities in the field of wind energy, including their experience in the production of wind turbines and components, technical services, and workforce training. Information was provided on Azerbaijan’s onshore and offshore wind power generation and export projects. The prospects for local production of wind turbines and equipment and the cooperation opportunities in this regard were discussed.
