The awareness campaign titled Energy Efficiency Month, implemented in five schools within the framework of the Switch Off and Win! campaign of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and SOCAR, has successfully concluded.
As part of the campaign, nearly 400 students participated in awareness-raising events organized at the schools, while more than 100 students prepared creative projects and works dedicated to the topic of energy efficiency.
In addition, an Energy Efficiency Volunteers group consisting of five students was established in each school. The volunteers delivered informative presentations in other classes on daily energy-saving practices, thereby encouraging the active engagement of students in the process. Furthermore, reels dedicated to energy saving and monitoring measures were prepared and published.
As part of the closing event of the Energy Efficiency Month campaign, an intellectual competition on the topic of energy efficiency was held among teams representing the participating schools, and an exhibition featuring the best selected creative works was organized. At the end of the event, the winners of the competition and the authors of the creative works were awarded prizes and certificates.
