Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Green Corridor Alliance JV and Siemens Energy to explore cooperation opportunities on the development of power transmission systems within the Central Asia–Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor Project.
Renewables.az informs, citing Green Corridor Alliance JV, that the parties will also explore potential consulting models under the memorandum.
The document was signed on the sidelines of the Kazakhstan–Germany Business Forum held in Berlin, Germany.
The high-level forum was organized during the official visit of Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Germany and brought together government and business leaders to strengthen economic and energy cooperation between the two countries.
It is worth recalling that Green Corridor Alliance JV and Siemens Energy signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) during this year's Baku Energy Week, marking an important step in their technical dialogue and cooperation.
Headquartered in Baku, Green Corridor Alliance JV was established to support the implementation of the Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Development and Transmission of Green Energy between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
