So far, 30 wind turbines have been installed at the 240 MW Khizi-Absheron Wind Power Plant (WPP). Within the framework of the project, construction of one 220/33 kV substation has been completed, while final works are underway at the other.
At a meeting between Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Marco Arcelli, CEO of Saudi Arabia’s “ACWA Power,” the progress towards putting the plant into full operation in the near future was reviewed.
