Four tidal stream projects totalling 20MW nabbed CfDs in AR7a.
The projects cleared the round at £265 per megawatt-hour in 2024 prices.
Three of the schemes are in Wales, with the largest the 10MW Ynni’r Lleuad 3 scheme.
The 5.5MW Mor Energy GO3 Phase 2 and 3MW Morlais scheme also landed CfDs.
Meanwhile, a 2.4MW Orbital Marine project off Scotland bagged the other Pot 2 deal.
The Pot 2 budget allocated was just under £15m.
Delivery years for the projects are 2028-29 and 2029-30, according to the results.
Tidal cleared at 28.6% below the £371/MWh price cap, according to the government.
The outcome compares to the 28MW successful in 2024’s AR6, which cleared at £172/MWh in 2012 prices.
The tidal prices in AR7a equal £190.19/MWh in 2012 prices, according to DESNZ.
