Azerbaijan’s waste-to-energy production decreases in 2025

In 2025, a total of 222.1 million kWh of electricity was generated at the Baku plant for the disposal of solid domestic wastes.

Renewables.az reports, citing the Ministry of Energy’s operational data on electricity generation, this figure is 10.4 million kWh, or 4.5% lower, compared to 2024.
