A meeting was held between Deputy Energy Minister Samir Valiyev and a delegation led by Mustafa Ataseven, Chairman of the Ataseven Group company operating in the wind energy industry of Türkiye.
At the meeting, the information was provided about the construction of wind power plants in Türkiye, as well as the production of turbine equipment and their activities in the field of export of generated energy. Cooperation opportunities with Azerbaijan in this direction were considered.
Green energy and wind energy projects implemented in Azerbaijan were discussed. It was noted that the local production of renewable energy equipment and the green energy export are among the issues on the agenda of Azerbaijan for the near future.
In order to determine the cooperation opportunities in the areas highlighted during the conversation, an agreement was reached on the continuation of discussions and the establishment of cooperation relations between the company and Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency.
