Azerbaijan wind power output rises more than 41-fold

Wind power plants in Azerbaijan generated 141.6 million kWh of electricity in January–February 2026.

Renewables.az reports, citing the State Statistics Committee, this represents a 41.6-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

The sharp rise in wind energy production is linked to the commissioning of the 240 MW Khizi-Absheron Wind Power Plant.
