A business delegation organized by the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) participated in Wind Energy Hamburg 2026, one of the world’s leading international exhibitions for the wind energy industry.
The delegation included representatives of SOCAR Green and AGEC (Azerbaijan Green Energy Company), bringing together key stakeholders contributing to Azerbaijan’s renewable energy transition.
During the visit, the delegation explored the latest technologies and developments in the wind energy sector and held targeted meetings with German-based and international industry leaders to discuss potential cooperation and opportunities in the Azerbaijani market.
As part of the programme, the delegation also visited the Siemens Gamesa facility in Cuxhaven, gaining first-hand insights into wind energy technologies, industrial processes and German expertise in the energy transition.
The delegation visit aimed to strengthen German-Azerbaijani cooperation in renewable energy through knowledge and technology exchange, exploring how German expertise can support Azerbaijan’s energy transition while paving the way for concrete business partnerships.
