In 2025, Azerbaijan’s hydropower plants generated 2.8425 billion kWh of electricity.
Renewables.az reports, citing operational data released by the Ministry of Energy, this represents a decrease of 168.5 million kWh, or 5.6%, compared to 2024.
Data also show that last year, hydropower plants operated by “Azerenerji” OJSC generated 2.8271 billion kWh of electricity.
