The third meeting of the sub-Working group on the green energy space, which was established to draft “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030”, was held.
At the meeting, chaired by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and participated by relevant authorities, the Action Plan developed for the purpose of the strategy project "green energy space" was discussed. The meeting focused on 46 proposed measures across seven key areas, aligned with the national priority “Clean Environment and Green Growth Country,” as well as target indicators for the development of the energy sector The implementation prospects and financing opportunities of these measures were reviewed. It was decided to continue the discussion of the Action Plan, to complete the work on the justification and examination of financial needs as soon as possible, and to submit the final option before the next meeting of the sub-Working Group, which will be held in October.
