Wind power generation in Azerbaijan increases more than threefold

In 2025, Azerbaijan’s wind power plants generated 169.7 million kWh of electricity.

Renewables.az reports, citing operational data released by the Ministry of Energy, this figure is 118.6 million kWh higher, or 3.3 times more, compared to 2024.

It is worth noting that last year, wind power plants operated by “Azerishiq” OJSC generated 38.5 million kWh of electricity.
