Azerbaijan and Georgia sign agreement on the supply and transit of electricity

An agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Georgia on the supply of electricity to Georgia and the transit of electricity through Georgian territory has been signed.

According to the Press Service of the President, the signing ceremony took place during a meeting between the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, on May 18.

The agreement was signed in the presence of President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, and Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili.
