On the eve of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council 12th Ministerial Meeting and Green Energy Advisory Council 4th Ministerial Meeting, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Moldovan Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu.
"On the eve of the Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting, we held a meeting with Dorin Junghietu, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Moldova, to explore new cooperation opportunities in the fields of natural gas and renewable energy," - Shahbazov wrote on X.
At the meeting with Moldovan Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu, the sides exchanged views on the expected demand for natural gas and the importance of a pragmatic policy to support the development of gas projects. Cooperation opportunities within the framework of liberalization of the gas market of Moldova, as well as holding tenders for wind power plants and energy storage facilities were evaluated.
