Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev met with a delegation from the Chinese company CSCEC International Construction Co., Ltd. During the meeting, a presentation was delivered on the company's activities, international experience, energy and infrastructure projects, as well as the advanced technological solutions it employs.
Samir Valiyev provided information on Azerbaijan's overall energy potential, development priorities in the electricity sector, and ongoing efforts to modernize and strengthen the country's power grid infrastructure. He also highlighted ongoing and planned projects in renewable energy, electricity transmission, and energy storage systems, including the Caspian–Black Sea–Europe Green Energy Corridor project, which envisages the transmission of green electricity from the Caspian Sea region to Europe via the Black Sea.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the application of advanced technologies in the energy sector and potential areas of cooperation with the Chinese company.
