During the ceremony, Samir Akhundov stated that the opening of the Garabagh branch in Khankendi is both a historic and strategic event. He noted that as a result of the glorious victory in the Second Garabagh War under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, our lands were liberated from occupation. The return to Garabagh is a top priority of state policy, and restoring the operations of state institutions to support the population’s livelihood in the region remains a primary objective.

Sabuhi Gahramanov emphasized that state institutions are restoring their operations in the region as part of the return to Garabagh. He noted that the Great Return to the liberated territories continues, with families temporarily settled in various parts of the country returning to their native lands.

It was noted that the launch of the Garabagh branch ensures accessible services for both the residents of the region and the enterprises currently operating or planning to operate there. This ensures the safe, sustainable, and effective implementation of state policy in the regions.

The opening of AERA’s branch in the city of Khankendi is an indication of the return to Garabagh, the support of livelihoods for citizens returning to the liberated lands, and the establishment of stability and development in the region.
