Today, Azerbaijan Green Energy Company LLC - AGEC celebrates its 2nd year since establishment. Over the past two years, the company has made significant strides in the renewable energy sector, staying committed to Azerbaijan’s sustainable development goals.
The first of AGEC’s major achievements is the 50 MW solar energy project in the Jabrayil region, implemented by “Clean Energy Jabrayil” LLC, part of AGEC’s portfolio. The foundation of this project was laid on October 28, 2025, by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
AGEC’s subsidiary, “Clean Energy Capital” LLC, together with “Baltech Green” LLC, established the enterprise “Kalbajar Energy” to develop a 200–240 MW wind energy project in Kalbajar, marking a strategic step forward.
The company has also signed an implementation agreement with the Ministry of Energy to conduct preliminary research and preparatory work for an offshore wind energy project in the Caspian Sea.
Preparatory works are underway for the construction of a 25 MW solar power plant in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
AGEC actively engages in sectoral events, including green energy zones and investment forums, playing a key role in discussions aimed at expanding renewable energy potential.
The company works closely with both the private sector and the government to implement innovative green energy projects and to set new benchmarks in the renewable energy sector.
