On April 19, a total of 60.7 million kWh of electricity was generated in Azerbaijan, of which 20.7 million kWh were produced from renewable energy sources.
According to the Ministry of Energy, renewables accounted for 34.1% of the country’s total electricity generation on that day.
Of the renewable electricity produced, 15.6 million kWh were generated by hydropower plants, while 5.1 million kWh came from solar and wind power plants.
