Azerbaijan is set to abolish the state fee for issuing special permits for activities involving alternative and renewable energy sources.
Renewables.az reports that the proposed change is included in draft amendments to the Law on State Duty, which form part of the country's 2027 state budget package.
Under the current legislation, a state fee of AZN 100 (≈ $59) is charged for issuing a special permit for such activities.
The proposed amendments would eliminate this fee.
