A meeting was held between Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and the charge d'Affaires of the United States of America in Azerbaijan Amy Carlon.
At the meeting, it was noted that there is a great interest and positive attitude to the development of relations with Azerbaijan in Washington. Issues related to the development of Azerbaijan-US energy cooperation at a new stage were discussed. In this context, the results of the visit of the Minister of Energy to the United States were considered. An exchange of views was held on cooperation between the two countries in the energy direction of the Strategic Partnership Charter, the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP), various energy projects, and other priority areas. The prospects for expanding cooperation with U.S. companies in the field of energy, the creation of a mechanism for regular dialogue in the field of energy and the development of a comprehensive roadmap were touched upon.
