The Iran conflict will inevitably drive investment in renewables, which are not only essential to energy security but also represent the cheapest power sources available.
Renewables.az reports that this was stated by the Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Francesco La Camera.
"Renewables benefit both the economy and the environment, and provide the most effective defense against the leveraging of energy markets for strategic ends", - he noted.
