A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between “Green Energy Corridor Power Company” LLC (GECO) and Italy’s Zhero.
According to GECO, the document was signed during a meeting held between the companies. The MoU was signed by GECO’s General Director Farhad Mammadov and Zhero’s Co-Founder Alessandra Pasini.
The document envisages exploring opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the Green Energy Corridor project.
Under the memorandum, the parties plan to exchange experience in the development of large-scale energy corridors, drawing on Zhero’s expertise gained through its “Medlink” initiative connecting Italy and North Africa.
It should be noted that GECO is a joint venture representing four countries, established to implement the “Agreement on the development and transmission of green energy signed between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Hungary.”
