The UAE-based Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) and AGEC have signed a "Cooperation Agreement for the Development of Renewable Energy Projects in Azerbaijan."
Renewables.az reports, citing the Press Service of the President of Azerbaijan, that the signing ceremony was held in the presence of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor.
The agreement was signed by Khayala Nagiyeva, Deputy Chair of the Board of AGEC, and Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE’s Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
