The next hybrid meeting of the Technical Committee on Standardization of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy was held at the Ministry of Energy.
According to the Ministry, in his speech, the Secretary of the Technical Committee Arif Nazarov said that the legal acts adopted in the field of standardization in recent years necessitated the development of new standards in energy.
At the meeting held with the participation of representatives of the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute Public Legal Entity and member bodies of the Technical Committee, opinions and proposals on the final version of the draft IEC 62933-2-1 standard of the Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) were discussed.
The importance of nationalizing terminology for the electric power engineering sector of Azerbaijan was emphasized at the meeting.
In conclusion, taking into account the opinions and proposals put forward, it was agreed that 13 draft standards related to the energy sector would be approved and submitted to the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute Public Legal Entity.
