As part of its awareness-raising activities on energy efficiency, the Ministry of Energy has launched energy efficiency campaign - Switch off and Win!. The goal of the campaign is to encourage citizens to reduce energy consumption in their daily lives by taking simple steps—such as turning off unused lights, household devices and appliances, and equipment—and to form smarter energy usage habits.
During the campaign, citizens will be encouraged to take simple steps to increase energy efficiency at home and in the workplace. They are invited to join the campaign through the website http://sondurveqazan.az/ and share their experiences in video form on social media by using the #SöndürVəQazan hashtag, tagging the Ministry of Energy’s social media accounts, and tagging 3 friends. Throughout the campaign, the most liked video shared by citizens during the week will be awarded.
Energy efficiency is the most cost-effective way to achieve energy security and meet climate goals. This is a priority task for Azerbaijan, a country with clean environment and a country of green growth. Let's all join this initiative and jointly benefit from our greatest source of energy, energy efficiency!
