An online working meeting was held within the framework of "Green Corridor Alliance" Joint Venture with the participation of the TSO's and international partners of the project.
During the discussion, participants reviewed the current status of the Data Collection process, key issues arising in the course of data collection, as well as the mechanisms for coordination and synchronization of information exchange for the implementation of the project.
It is reported that the meeting was attended by representatives of “Azerenerji” OJSC, the “Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company,” and “National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan” JSC, as well as representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which supports the project, and Italy’s CESI SpA, acting as the technical consultant.
It should be noted that the “Green Corridor Alliance” LLC (Joint Venture) was established between “Azerenerji” OJSC, the “Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company,” and “National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan” JSC in order to implement the Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Development and Transmission of Green Energy between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
