Renewables.az, a renewable energy portal, was launched on April 2, 2021, with the publication of its first article covering the Presidential Decree on the implementation of a pilot project for the construction of a 230 MW solar power plant.
The main objective of the platform is to deliver the most important developments in the renewable energy sector across the country, the region, and the world, while also contributing to the advancement of this field in Azerbaijan. Providing unbiased information, the portal has become one of the trusted sources referenced by reputable media outlets.
In 2024, within the framework of the Green World Solidarity Year in Azerbaijan, the English-language version of the portal was launched to promote the green energy agenda at the international level.
In a short period of time, the platform has established itself as a reliable source of information. As a result, the website and its social media pages are now followed in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Throughout its activity, Renewables.az has supported information coverage as a media partner at more than 80 international events held across 26 countries.
