An international tender to select a consultancy firm for the feasibility study of the Trans-Caspian Green Energy Corridor project will be held next month, Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov announced at the First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF-2025) in Baku.
"Next month, a tender will be held to choose a consultancy company responsible for conducting the technical and economic assessment of the Trans-Caspian Green Energy Corridor. The process, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), is expected to begin by the end of 2025," Shahbazov said.
The minister also noted that Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan have revised their approach and are now aiming to create a unified regional green energy platform.
ADB launched an international tender in July to select a consultancy firm for Phase I of the Central Asia–Azerbaijan Trans-Caspian Green Energy Corridor project. The consultancy assignment is set to last 11 months, with a total budget of $1 million.
