Ankara and Baku are moving their cooperation in the energy sector from the project stage to implementation, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar said.
"Türkiye and Azerbaijan are now moving their cooperation in the energy sector from the project stage to implementation. Through the Nakhchivan–Türkiye, Türkiye–Georgia–Azerbaijan–Bulgaria corridors and power transmission lines that will extend under the Black Sea to Europe, we aim to ensure the delivery of the Turkic world's energy resources to Europe through Türkiye," the minister said in a post on X following his visit to Baku.
The 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum was held in Baku today, with the participation of Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Türkiye's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
Türkiye ve Azerbaycan olarak enerji alanındaki iş birliklerimizi artık projeden uygulamaya taşıyoruz.
