Currently, work is underway between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to define new wind and solar energy projects, UAE Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammed Al Blooshi told AZERTAC.
He underlined that the energy sector, especially renewable energy, is one of the most dynamic areas of cooperation between the two countries. “In this context, the UAE's Masdar company acts as a leading partner implementing major projects in Azerbaijan.”
"As for the renewable energy sector, UAE’s Masdar company is one of the largest companies in this area. Currently, several large projects have been implemented by Masdar and relevant contracts have been concluded. Some of the projects have already been submitted," the ambassador added.
