In November last year, the Clean Energy Centre (CECECO), established in Azerbaijan jointly with the ECO and the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) within the framework of COP29, officially launched.
According to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, the first meeting of the Board of Directors of CECECO was held online. During the meeting, the Internal Rules of the Centre were approved and Aysel Yagubova was appointed Executive Director of the Clean Energy Centre. The second meeting of the Board of Directors was decided to be held in the first half of 2026.
